YOUNG LEADERS OF TUGIAD MEETING WITH THE AMERICAN YOUNG LEADERS
TUGIAD WILL STRENGTHEN THE RELATIONS BETWEEN TURKEY AND USA THROUGH THE LEADERS OF THE FUTURE
TUGIAD (Young Businessmen Association of Turkey), that created strong ties and relations with the neighboring countries as a consequence of frequently organized trade missions and visits, is now getting together with the American young entrepreneurs. The Delegation that will be hosted at the headquarters of TUGIAD on the 6th of July, at 5.30 pm, includes young entrepreneurs aged between 22-35.
The main purpose of the mentioned scheme organized by The Atlantic Council of the United States (ACUS) and the Istanbul Policy Center (IPC) is to launch well-built relations between Turkish and American entrepreneurs; additionally to keep the relations active.
The first part of the organization took place in Washington D.C, USA on March of 2010. The second part of the program was initiated in Mardin, Turkey on the 25th of June, which will be followed by meetings in Ankara and Istanbul. This project aims to contribute to the development of executive skills of the delegates. The ultimate goal of the program is to form a permanent collaboration foundation within the groups through common projects.
The delegates that will be visiting TUGIAD are professionally active in the fields of public policy, politics, business and journalism. Furthermore, it is also significant to state that there are several deputies that have their expertise in Middle East policies. Consequently, considering the business relations of the future leaders and the continuing projects, this program targets the Turkish-American relations to be decisive, continuous and to form itself as an expanding network.

Furthermore, TUGIAD is a member of The European Young Businessmen Confederation (YES), an international young entrepreneur’s organization composed by young businessmen societies located in 17 countries TUGIAD, is representing Turkey and young Turk business environment within the YES frame.
TUGIAD, with its 657 members has a profile of dynamic young businessmen with an average age of 35, representing a considerable majority of the country. TUGIAD members are at present representing an annual turnover of around 30 billion US$, have a significant role in the national economy. TUGIAD members are effective in a total of 56 sectors including super construction, construction materials, textile industry, foreign trading, automotive & spare parts, tourism, logistics & services, food, machinery, chemicals, iron & steel and production of other metal products. The countries with which TUGIAD members are engaged in foreign business mostly, with their annual export of 14 billion dollars and annual import of 16 billion dollars, are Germany, Italy, England, USA, France, Russia, Spain, eastern European countries, neighboring countries, Turkic Republics, Middle East and Far East countries.
